Simple Symposium Style (2018-2019)
The first FSNNA logo showcases our initial ties to Fan Studies Network (FSN) in the UK. For the first two years of the conference, program design highlighted the “Fan Studies Network” name, and the circle that would become our second logo was more secondary, distinguishing FSNNA as an offshoot. In the 2018 and 2019 conference programs, Olivia Riley is credited with design.

Moving Online (2020-2022)
FSNNA moved online for the 2020 conference due to the pandemic, and Lori Morimoto created this new logo to accompany the big change. Slightly different versions of this image, which places the organization name and then-current year in a globe, were used for those two years; however, long-time FSNNA attendees may remember this 2020 version being our avatar on Gmail, Discord, and Zoom for awhile.

A Distinct Look (2023-present)
This logo was created by Benjamin Woo in 2023, cementing a look that could be used seamlessly across different years or conference themes. Ben drew and adjusted this logo by hand, creating a unique visual identity that FSNNA-goers might recognize from the similarly distinctive programs he designed for the conferences themed “Inside Voices,” “Re: Fandom,” and “The Monsters of Fan Studies.”
