Using Conline and Zoom to Access Meetings
Depending on your ‘role’ during the conference, you’ll be accessing Zoom meetings in different ways. This infographic breaks down each tier of access (text below the graphic):

Zoom Meeting Hosts: (those of you who proposed and had accepted Salons or Workshops) you have been emailed a link to your event. Approximately 20 minutes before your event, please log in to the meeting where you’ll be met by your moderator(s). About 10-15 minutes before the event, send a direct message on Discord to your participants with the Zoom direct link, so they can join you there. Once the moderator has opened up the waiting room to allow attendees from Conline into the meeting, you may begin.
Speakers/Participants: You will receive a link to join the Zoom meeting directly on Discord from the event host, about 10-15 minutes before the event is scheduled to begin. When you receive it, join the meeting and get your camera and mic set up. Once the moderator has opened the Conline waiting room and allowed attendees to enter the meeting, your host will begin the event.
Attendees: You will access the Zoom meeting through Conline. Log in there and click on “Schedule” in the top horizontal menu. Scroll down to the appropriate event and click on it. This will take you to a countdown clock. Once it’s time for the meeting to begin, the clock will be replaced by a green bar that says “Join in” – click on that and you’ll be admitted to the waiting room. From there, you will be admitted to the meeting when the moderator and participants are ready. Please note that you cannot use Zoom backgrounds in the Conline window. If you do not want your space to be seen, please do not enable your video.
